I suppose in a weird way I needed to have a Benjamin shirt in the collection. Trevor came to us as "one for the future" a big signing from the Peter Taylor era. Never really a fans favourite as he never really progressed and suffered from being a Peter Taylor signing. He went on to play on loan at several clubs, and worked his way back down the leagues after peaking at leicester City. A very colourful career, playing as high up as the Premier League and for England U21's, then playing in non league at just 28 years old.

This one was from a kitmans collection, and so was benchworn in the game I have details of. It does though have mud marks on the sleeve, so would have been worn previously to this fixture.
