Not a bad design for Leicester City. Although it was Fox Leisure, it was a fair design. The player shirt was the same as the replica apart from the Nationwide Badges, which were larger than some that were available commercially.
This shirt came from a great game. This was worn by Garry Parker in the Semi Final Play off v Stoke at the Victoria Ground. We were level at 0-0 after the first leg at Filbo, and it was always going to be a difficult game at Stoke. The atmosphere was very lively and the game could have gone either way. I cannot remember how the ball managed to get to Garry Parker, but I remember him putting it in the net and then doing a jig towards the fans behind the goal. This was one of the best goals ever seen, purely down to the importance of the game. I suppose you could say that you are a football fan to enjoy moments like this. If you were there, then you lived it too. This is a shirt from a very special game.
