The unlucky kit. Well not for the teams who played against us as we never won a game in these green shirts. We weren't a bad team either, Lynex, Smith, Lineker, O'Neill etc, yet we couldn't find a win in it. Even Bob "who throws petrol bombs" Hazell managed to fit into these tight fitting tops. This one would have been worn by Steve Lynex. A true winger who supplied the crosses for Lineker and Smith to score. Lynex played number 7 in every game the green shirt was used, so this shirt would have been used exclusively by him.
The Ind Coope logo was incorporated into the shirt in the early part of the season, however during the latter part the club appeared to us the replica style shirts with the Ind Coope then transferred on. The later shirts then would not have had the admiral logo on the number, which was present on the earlier shirts.
