Frankie Wortho, Frankie Wortho ello, ello. What a talent and what a showman. I used to watch him do his keepy uppies before each game which resulted in him balancing the ball on his neck. I used to rush home from school everyday, get my Leicester kit on and try and do what Frank had done at the weekend. By the age of seven I could do 16 keepy uppies. Unfortunately for me, I had peaked then and it was all down hill after that. A great talent, a great hero for a young aspiring footballer. Thanks Frank.
Not sure if this shirt was worn or not. I remember us wearing blue home and white away, but do not have any idea about red. Maybe it was worn in just a few odd games. Hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on it. We wore a red third kit in seasons before and after this, so it is more than likely this shirt would have had a limited run out. Good old fashioned design, cotton, embroidered badge, sewn on cloth number. Great shirt.
