Richard Smith was a Leicester born centre half who progressed through the ranks to the first team. Not the best centre half we have ever had, but always gave a hundred percent and was a firm favourite with the fans. During the 90's Richard played a key role in the team, and I am pleased that I have one of his shirts in this collection. He moved onto Grimsby when he was replaced, then retired early through injury.
