This shirt would have been worn by Willie Gibson, Paul Friar and Peter Welsh. Peter Welsh is still local, but hard to imagine he ever fitted in to this shirt. The other two would have worn the shirt more often, but left the club never to be heard of again. Both did good jobs, Gibson first, then the role was taken by Friar. Bobby Smith finally took the shirt after he moved from left wing to left back.
