In the years of the revoving door, with players constantly coming and going, not many really stayed and made a big impact. Max though was a little different, a youngster coming through. confident on the pitch, classy, and a joy to watch. Probably my favourite player for years, he had an edge, and unfortunately didn't stop around for long. Always remember the players lining up in the tunnel, all tense, focussed, yet Max was relaxed, and always had time to give Archie a quick wave when he saw him. Nice lad, one of the best, we didn't keep him long enough.

This away design was very hard to get hold of. Used rarely, and not many of these came out of the club. This one came directly from Max's agent who Max gave him personally. It has clearly been worn, probably on a few occasions by the looks of it. Really hope Max does well, he was one of the best.
