I liked this player. He did a good job in front of the back four and put in some really good performances. It was a shame that despite his and others efforts, we still went down into the Championship that season.

He tended to wear a long sleeved shirt in the first half then change to a short sleeved in the second. This therefore was his fist half shirt. I remember watching this game and as the first half progressed, I saw for some reason Duncan Ferguson giving him the verbals. He then made a bee line for him and started trying to strange him. Duncan was somehow dragged away from the player and shown the red card. The following day all the tabloids had pictures of our player (in this shirt) being throttled by DF.
