This shirt is extremely rare. This was our third kit for the year and was only worn in very few matches. It was only made for the players, however there were around a dozen extra that ended up in the club shop. So if you have this as a replica, you have a very rare shirt on your hands. The shirt was worn for games versus Blackburn, Brighton and Ipswich, plus a few others I think.

This shirt came from the Ipswich game, which was our last but one game of the season. Many people went in fancy dress and there were many Rooster Russells in the crowd that day. It was supposed to be a party atmosphere, however we lost and it was one of those horrible games that you will always remember. Its quite funny how I got this shirt. It ended up being thrown is the crowd and a lad caught it who I knew. He sold it to me for a hundred quid, which was a good deal for him at the time. He thought he was onto a good thing and a few weeks later he offered me a huge carpet I believe he aquired from the reception at Leicester City. I think he thought that as I parted with a hundred quid for this I would be easy pickings to part with money for anything so he took a carpet. I declined the carpet I am glad to say.
