Sav did a great job for us. He came to us, young and raw. He progressed to being a regular in the team and became a much better footballer when he left us than when he arrived. I remember him playinf for us against Fulham in the Worthington Cup. We were losing and it just wasn't happening for us. I rememebr quite late in the second half their left back had the ball and Sav just ran from the middle of the pitch to close him down and managed to get a throw in. Nobody else had his energy and desire and that one incident I believe got both the crowd and players going, which eventually ended up in a Wembley appearance. He did great for us and I really enjoyed his time at the club.

This shirt was worn in the Worthington Cup game v Blackpool and was swapped with their played John Kane.
