Good defender, started with us as a youngster, then developed and stayed a number of years with us. Was a regular in the Northern Ireland side. His career was cut short by a tackle by John Fashanu while he was playing for Norwich.

I am almost sure the red away version was not available as a replica. I stand to be corrected on that. I am definately sure that replicas were only available in the short sleeved version and were minus the Ind Coope logo. This players shirt has the silk number with the Admiral logo at the bottom. The players shirts came with both white silk numbers and black. I think we used the white version in the latter part of the season.
